A stylish, concert-sized cutaway acoustic-electric that marries solid Sitka spruce top with mahogany back and sides, the FSX820C delivers warm, balanced tone with strong mid-range projection—all in a slimmer, more comfortable body. Yamaha’s new scalloped X-bracing enhances resonance, giving greater volume and richer lows without sacrificing clarity.

Equipped with the acclaimed System-66 preamp and Yamaha’s SRT piezo pickup, it offers onboard volume, 3‑band EQ (with sweepable mids), and a convenient tuner—making it stage-ready. Comfortable for all hand sizes, its 25-inch scale and narrower concert body make it ideal for fingerstyle, singer-songwriters, and gigging musicians alike.
